Packages

So, on Sunday I bought 2 items off eBay for Christmas presents. No matter where I looked, I couldn't find them anywhere, and at $15 apiece, I was completely convinced I could get them for cheaper to save money for the large amount of presents I still have left to get! I ended up getting both for a combined total of $16 (including shipping). Once I saw that they were shipped, I found a new thing that I love doing... tracking my packages.

I don't know why, but it's very entertaining to see where they are and how much closer they are until they get here! This is how I knew they would be here this afternoon when I got home. On more of a side note, I have a dog (that acts more like a puppy) who LOVES ripping up anything she can get her mouth on, including packages. When I got here and didn't find the packages, I was slightly confused so I went inside and tracked them. It said they had both been delivered already. After searching the yard and finding the remains of a box, I thought she had gotten ahold of my packages and torn them to shreds. However, the items that were supposed to be inside were no where to be found. After searching the yard and making a few phone calls, it occurred to me that maybe I should check the mail-box... shocker. That's where they were the whole time. Either way, I'm completely satisfied with both the seller and the amount of money that I saved by choosing eBay! Just an idea if you are looking to save money this Christmas...

Long Time, No Blog

WOW! I did not realize just how long it has been since I last posted! It's pretty sad, but that's ok. I've been so busy between school and the holidays, which by the way I am EXTREMELY excited for! In other news, I did three photo shoot type deals back in September that I can't wait to share! Yes, I know you're thinking that was forever ago, but between then and now I was having some space issues with my laptop. Sadly for me, that caused me to not be able to put the pictures on my computer! No worries though because it's all fixed now... I'm looking forward to sharing a few of my favorite pictures with you! Hopefully in the next few days I'll have that done, but we'll see. :)

Back to December

There are two reasons why I am blogging today...
1. Because today is the 13th and 13 is my FAVORITE and lucky number!
and 2. Yesterday Taylor Swift released another single from the Speak Now album!

It is called Back to December and I must say, it is amazing (although, I think all of her songs are). :) Only 12 more days until the full album release! Ahh, I can't wait!

On a different note, we had to take the practice PSAT at school today... blech! It was boring and somewhat complicated. I must say that I am not much of an English person. Reading and writing are definitely not for me and 3 of the 5 parts had to do with it. However, on the other hand, I am for sure a math person and since the other 2 parts were math, it was a relief from all the reading comprehension and critical thinking. But, the PSAT did get me out of my Pre-AP Chemistry test! We get more much needed study time and get to take the test Friday. I also had a math test today... I feel pretty good about it. Mr. Sandlin is an extremely quick grader so I hope we will have them back very soon...

Speak Now

So, yesterday Taylor Swift released the title song "Speak Now" off of her upcoming album Speak Now that will be released October 25th... I can't describe just how excited I am! This song is definitely my new obsession along with "Mine" which was released back in August. As soon as I am able to add it to my playlist on my blog, I absolutely will so be looking for it!

Below is the link for the "Mine" music video. :)

Sumo's

So, today was the Spain Park homecoming. BUT, we decided not to go. We'd been so wishy-washy about the whole thing because we just did not feel like we wanted to go this year. Long story short, even if we had wanted to go, we waited too long to decide. Instead, Adam and I decided to go out to eat somewhere we had never been before. We felt like Japanese so, after searching for some ideas of places, we ended up at Sumo's Japanese Steakhouse. It was amazing! The place was absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the people were friendly, funny, and very involved. Although it is kind of pricey, we had more than enough food and definitely got our money's worth. I would absolutely recommend it.

Success.

I finally took the time to completely set up my blog! Awesome, right? I'm not so sure about how well I will do with keeping it updated... but I guess we'll see.
